When I first heard about my $7,000 car insurance premium I thought it was a joke.
That’s until I got a call from my insurer informing me that their rate was going to be $2,700 per year!
What’s more, it was only going to increase by $200 every year.
It was a steep increase and I had no idea what to do.
Thankfully, there was a way to save some money on my car insurance premiums.
I’m not a car enthusiast, but I know that the biggest obstacle in a car insurance company’s rate increase is the amount of time it takes to do it.
So I decided to find a way around that hurdle and use this free resource to save me some money.
What You’ll Need to Save Your CarInsurance: The following are my personal recommendations to save you money on your car insurance.
You can check out my insurance calculator and find out how much you will save if you follow my tips.
Save on Your Auto Insurance Rates.
You should always start saving for your car, but the best way to do that is to start with your auto insurance rates.
I know, I know.
Insurance companies will say, “Oh, it’s just a matter of time,” but you should always be paying the right rate for your insurance.
If you pay the correct rate for auto insurance, you will see your rates go down and it will only take a few years for your rate to go up. 2.
Save your Insurance for Up to $3k.
Auto insurance is one of the biggest costs you have to pay, but that’s where your money is going.
I’m not talking about your deductible, but your out-of-pocket cost for repairs.
When you buy your auto, you are paying for insurance that will cover the cost of repairing your vehicle.
If you pay your out of pocket for repairs, you should expect your rates to go down.
Use a Smartphone App to Keep Track of Your Autoinsurance.
The easiest way to keep track of your autoinsurance rates is to use a smart phone app.
This is one way to track your rates without going through the hassle of having to pay by credit card.
Use Your Personal Information to Set Up a Monthly Payment Plan.
Once you set up a monthly payment plan, you can set your monthly premiums to be paid in the following ways: 1.
Auto Insurance Premiums: When you sign up for auto coverage, you enter your information into a website called My CarInsure.
Your details are collected by My Carinsure and sent to a third-party company to process your payment.
Your payment is processed by My Autoinsure, which is responsible for processing payments for you.
Your Monthly Payments: When your auto insurer’s monthly premium is set, you have two choices: 1) You can set up an auto insurance payment plan using your personal information and pay your premiums monthly, or 2) You may pay your monthly premium quarterly, which means you will receive a monthly bill.
My Autoinsage has a simple payment plan for you, so all you have is your name, address, and a payment amount.
Now that you have your personal details, you only need to enter your payment amount, which can be done through My AutoInsage.
After entering the amount, you’ll see a screen where you can choose whether to pay your premium in a lump sum, monthly, quarterly, or monthly installments.
You can also set up auto insurance plans for different vehicles and make auto insurance payments by credit cards.
Use My Auto Insure to Review Your Auto Premiums.
